Wholehearted Love, Sweet Fellowship: The PGTI Jambi Region Mooncake Festival Serves as a Bridge for the Gospel. A warm and intimate atmosphere enveloped EV Garden on Monday, September 21, 2026. Celebrating a Chinese tradition rich in the spirit of togetherness, the Fellowship of Chinese Churches in Indonesia (PGTI)—Jambi Region—hosted a Mooncake Festival attended by approximately 450 people. The event served as a gathering place that embraced congregants from various churches, families, as well as friends and acquaintances who had not yet come to know Christ.
Centered on the theme “Wholehearted Love, Sweet Fellowship,” the event utilized the mooncake tradition not merely as a cultural festival, but as a bridge of love to share the Good News. This gathering was viewed as an opportunity to reach out to new souls through friendly and open fellowship.

The program began with a relaxed social gathering, followed by a time of fellowship centered on a brief worship service. The message was delivered by Rev. Linus Baito, a lecturer at STT Alethea Lawang, who shared a profound message regarding the truth of eternal fellowship. He emphasized that the loving relationships and warm fellowship built on earth ultimately lead to a greater purpose: eternal fellowship with the Creator.

The evening’s togetherness was further enlivened by a showcase of talents from various congregations:
Dance Performance: Expressive praise through dance by representatives from GKI Jambi and GMI Sion.
Life Testimony: An inspiring sharing of faith experiences in Christ from the GKY congregation.
Harmonious Praise: A special vocal performance by the GKPJ choir. The event concluded in an atmosphere of joy and warm fellowship. Through the seeds of love sown during this time of togetherness, the prayer and heartfelt hope is that every soul present—especially those who do not yet believe—might be touched by the love of Christ and experience true fellowship in the Gospel.
