PGTI Riau Region held a Chinese New Year Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Wesley Indonesian Methodist Church in Pekanbaru. The event was attended by 372 congregants from member churches: 116 from the Indonesian Methodist Church (GMI), 87 from the Indonesian Methodist Church (GKI), 67 from the Indonesian Methodist Church (GKY), and 102 from the Indonesian Methodist Church (GKKK). The theme of this year’s Thanksgiving Service was “To Be Better.” The Word of God was delivered by Rev. Lily (Pastor of the GMI Wesley Church in Pekanbaru).
